The Registration Request.
ChoiceMail quarantines any remaining, unrecognized mail. It automatically sends a “registration request” to each unknown sender that directs them to a web page where they are asked for their name, email address and reason for contacting you. They also are asked to complete a task, which is easy for a person but impossible for a computer. This process alone eliminates most junk email since spammers cannot respond to the registration request.
When a sender does register, ChoiceMail alerts you with a pop-up message. You decide whether to allow the sender to communicate with you or not. You can turn this registration feature off if you wish, but most users love it because it puts the burden of identifying unknown mail back where it belongs, on the sender.
Virtual Email Addresses
ChoiceMail One version 2.52 introduces virtual email addresses to overcome the concern that vendors or automated systems cannot respond to challenges. You can now create new email addresses on the fly and give them to vendors or use them with automated systems. When an email is sent to you through a virtual address, it is automatically approved and reaches your inbox without challenge.
